Tom McCabe is on the board of the neo-Tech incubator in Howard County, he would be happy to give a tour and help you get space. There are 20 or so entrepreneurial businesses hosted in the incubator. The main attraction is rent at a bargain price, it also helps to be surrounded by other entrepreneurs and they have a great conference room to entertain your clients. Bootstrapping

Our next article is about something near and dear to my heart -- -- the bootstrapping process of business growth. The idea is to use cash flow and the current client base as a platform to grow new products or new services. The philosophy is similar to the article 'The Runway' in that it uses existing resources to achieve business growth. Here is an article we can read until our own version is published next month:

Who are we?

A nonprofit of highly successful business entrepreneurs who volunteer their time and expertise to help business startups. Our focus is on the very first stage when the entrepreneur is about to jump into a new business.

Each of us has lived through the angst and excitement of this first step, and getting the right advice at the beginning is critical. We do face-to-face mentoring of the would-be entrepreneur at his most critical juncture -- -- jumping his new business.

The mentoring and coaching is direct and personal from fellow entrepreneurs who have founded successful businesses -- -- it's our way of giving back.

This is not stale textbook stuff -- -- it's street savvy advice from people who have been there.
